About

Our Purpose

Bookboard exists to encourage children to develop a lifelong love for reading.

Few things in life are more magical or fulfilling than watching a child read. But in a world full of distraction, encouraging a child to read can be a challenge. Bookboard helps refocus our children’s attention on the written word in an exciting new way.

Bookboard was developed by tech-savvy parents who value reading and comprehension skills yet understand the importance of keeping your child entertained. Bookboard engages children in reading by helping them discover new titles and earn fun achievements.

Our Approach

Bookboard puts the magic of story time in a delight-driven eBook experience for readers of all ages to enjoy.

Reading should not have limits. Your child’s reading potential should not be limited by the number of books on the shelf. There’s too much to explore, and owning every book your child reads is not practical. Bookboard puts a limitless number of books within reach and makes it simple to find the right content for your child – no matter what they happen to be interested in this week.

Reading should be fun. Bookboard adds a gaming element to reading. It combines our limitless supply of content with a little healthy competition and delivers the entire experience inside a delight-driven service that readers of all ages can control.

Reading should build confidence. We believe it is important to provide parents, family members, or teachers with insight into their child’s reading progress. We also look for ways to reinforce and reward good reading habits. Bookboard readers develop confidence from their accomplishments and become self-motivated in their reading.

Our Team

We’re parents too.

We understand the importance of keeping your child entertained while developing reading and comprehension skills. We’re technologists who love the bleeding edge, but also have a passion for thoughtful design and a strong sense that software is supposed to make our *real* lives better.

We are actively on the lookout for talented people who have a passion for early learning and technological innovation. If you are interested in joining our team, please review our current job opportunities.
