Ponies, Mollusks and a New Series of Chapter Books!

by On August 30, 2013 in Childrens Books, Reading

We’ve got some more books to share, and this set really has some varied content in it. Here are some highlights:

  • A new series of chapter books called the Cascade Mountain Railroad Mysteries.
  • I think fans of the Boxcar Children will snap this right up!

  • A lovely story about a horse named Chestnut.
  • Often in public libraries there are “regulars” who come in and read every single horse book the library owns!

  • Some new nonfiction — both beginning readers and picture books.
  • Two new biographies for older readers (one about Benjamin Franklin and one about Charles Darwin).

I love that we’re growing the collection at all levels — from the very youngest learning-to-readers up to self-sufficient reading-to-learners. There’s even more good stuff coming, so I’ll get busy now to get them ready for you!
